Name: Awe
Journal: awestriker
Contact: aim: awestrikernova, plurk: awestriker

Character Name: Grolla Seyfarth
Series: Rosenkreuzstilette
Gender: Female
Age & Canon Point: 23 (no canon age is given, includes time at Garden); pulled at the beginning of RKS Freudenstachel
Requested Sponsor: N/A; she probably would have gone for Carbuncle, but been placed in Ruby (as she'd have had no idea what "seeks cool dudes" meant) (If the "cool dudes" part is a joke she'd have successfully picked Ruby).
Entry position (Cadet, SeeD, Instructor, other): SeeD
History: She doesn't have all that much.
Garden History: After arriving at Garden, she was accepting of her fate and position very quickly, comparing the whole Magi persecution thing the Church had going on to this whole off-worlder persecution the rest of the world has going on. She preferred to take missions solo if possible once she graduated, and she was a top-of-the-line student in her combat classes, synthesizing several other sword styles with her own, and worked with the Disciplinary Committee (if possible). She also collected a few friendly rivals that OOC-ly have yet to be determined, and might have become attached to someone a la Sichte.
Abilities & Physical Abnormalities: Grolla is in possession of an ancestral sword known as Grollschwert. As a Magus, Grolla is able to use this sword in unconventional ways, such as releasing shockwaves and making attacks from a distance. This magus power of hers, unfortunately, bears the same name as the sword. Despite her armor, she is far more mobile than most, and is capable of dashing and wall-jumping Mega Man Zero style.
Personality: Grolla Seyfarth, also known as RKS-006, is the descendant of the legendary swordsman Thanatos, although his real name was Raimund Seyfarth. As such, she is incredibly skilled with the sword and inheritor of his blade Grollschwert. “Grollschwert” happens to be German for - more or less - “grudge sword”, and it fits her very, very well.
As a member of the all-Magus military unit Rosenkreuzstilette, and of course as an heiress of the Seyfarth legacy, she is well-accustomed to combat. The term Magus here refers to a human with magical powers not possessed by the average person; they are frequently looked upon with fear, loathing and disdain. Joining RKS is to some extent a matter of survival for this reason, as some citizens of the Empire, and lately the Orthodox Church, will go out of their way to witchhunt Magi. (Sound familiar? It should.)
It is a very rare thing for her to be seen with any sort of positive expression on her; she has the spirit of a warrior, and is almost always on her guard. She is fiercely loyal to her organization, and also to her close friend and mistress Sichte Meister, who leads Rosenkreuzstilette’s strike force. Which isn't to say that she won't detach herself from it if necessary - organizations come and go, but people - her friends and rivals - are irreplaceable. Even if they never make any sense when they talk, treat everything as if it's a game, or are a barely-functioning ball of feels. She does look out for them all, and if that means fighting them every so often it's what she'll do.
She is a very vengeful individual, as well, stopping at nothing to exact her wrath when she is crossed. Whether a perceived threat to her or her friendrivals, a personal attack, or an affront to the laws of nature in the form of her undead grandfather, whoever did it will not get off easy, at least not for long.
She also has several old-fashioned tendencies and speaks much like a knight, always addressing Sichte as “Lady Sichte”. Her high standards are a measuring stick for both herself and others, but she doesn't often see it as a personal failure if someone else doesn't meet them, unless she has authority over them.
What are your plans for the character in-game? That one woman people are just afraid of is very likely to be her. She'll be trying to keep some semblance of order around these parts, especially regarding show-offy offworlders - thanks to what she's already gone through.
Anything else?
Please, abbreviate her tag to "rks: grolla seyfarth". She shares a canon with someone whose full name is 27 characters long, so if we ever get one of her (yeah right) she'll need all the space she can get.
She will come in with a personal GF Thanatos. Her sword happens to have her dead grandfather's soul lingering in it; demo versions of Freudenstachel show that she can use that to her advantage.

Complete TWO out of the FOUR options.

It had been a thoroughly successful mission. She'd expected nothing hard would come of raiding an abandoned military installation, and she'd been right of course. She'd been through far worse.
Over a year had passed since Time Compression had taken her from what was left of RKS - the Church had begun to conduct witch hunts once more, and she still couldn't help but think of what had happened to them, especially Lady Sichte. Time was her specialty, but Grolla knew that she wasn't capable of such a feat as that... nor would she do so if she were.
Iris had escaped after their confrontation. Grolla could only hope that she was already dead. What she had tone was unforgivable - instigating a war for her own amusement, treating herself as a god... If Iris were ever to turn up here, it would destroy any work she and the other off-worlders had done to prove themselves human, or close to it.
With the same expression as always, and this on her mind, she walked through the halls of Garden to find the Headmaster.
"SeeD # [ID number goes here] Grolla Seyfarth reporting. Mission complete."

[Today was an ordinary day at Garden. Cadets milled about in between classes, and the SeeDs that weren't either teaching or on missions did more or less whatever they felt like doing. Grolla Seyfarth, for instance, was looking for anyone or anything out of place, and as usual, there wasn't a lot that fit that description of late.
Last night, though, someone had posted something to the bulletin board. It seems that the Tattler had struck a single, solitary blow, well removed from his or her usual misguided, meaningless love rumors.
"I hear that Seyfarth cries herself to sleep..."
No. Never, not since her early days here, and it was her first time being so targeted. This was nothing short of an outrage. Removing the notice from the board, she set out to find the person responsible. And if you catch her attention, she'll brandish it, saying...]
Who is responsible for this?
